Would a small meltdown support kit be useful for parents?

Hey everyone. I’m exploring something and would love your thoughts please.

I’m considering creating a small meltdown support kit that parents can grab when the kid is having a tough moment. Nothing clinical just a little bag with a few sensory items to help ground the child, simple tools to help them name what they’re feeling, and a couple of quick reminder cards for us as parents about what helps when everything is kicking off. Think of things like a soft fidget or stress ball, something with a bit of weight to help them settle, a visual timer for transitions, a simple feelings card, and a short here’s what to do right now guide for us. All small, lightweight, and easy to keep in a bag, car, or at home. I’d love to know what you think. Would this be useful? What would you want in it?

I’ve been thinking about how hard those moments can be, especially now that most of us are parenting without much of a village, childcare is expensive, and we’re all juggling a lot.

I think it’s a good idea but obviously there’s no one approach fits all.
It would be good to offer a choice of sensory items and a range of visuals for different stages/ levels of understanding. So a pick your own items for a kit but all available in one place.
Would be good to launch at SEN conferences/ Autism show etc.
