Would a local or online emotional support group suit mums better

Hi everyone šŸ‘‹

I’m currently developing a gentle, emotionally supportive group for mums focused on how mums are actually feeling, not just baby milestones.
The idea is to create a calm, supportive space for mums to feel less alone, build confidence, and connect with others through small, structured support.
I’m exploring two options and would genuinely love to know what would feel most accessible/helpful:

🌿 Option 1: Face-to-Face Group

  • Small local group (around 6–8 mums)
  • Babies welcome
  • Weekly gentle check-ins + guided discussion
  • Calm, supportive environment
šŸ’» Option 2: Digital Group
  • Online live sessions from home
  • Easier for mums in the early weeks / those who can’t easily get out
  • Same emotional support, just more flexible

I think both are good, but obv online is easier to attend. Suggestions:
A schedule of online for two weeks, then in person meeting the third week, repeat.
The reverse.
Alternating weekly.
In person with Zoom option for those that can't make it.

I attend Zoom parenting groups only as it's easier for me.

I wouldn’t bother with a support only group
but an activity that also offers support is great eg bay massage, play time, singing to babies, forest bathing with babies etc
