ds1 (12) has been made to do fast walking / slow jogging in p.e today despite having a note from me saying he was to be excused.

he had just had a substantial amount of blood taken about 10 minutes before p.e and the nurse said to just chill for a bit. it was just unfortunate that i had to take him straight back to school and it happened to be p.e

but surely if i say no p.e it should be no p.e?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

It should most definitely be no to p.e.! I would be furious - did he tell them why he wasn't supposed to be doing it?

I think my DD (12) would have made it quite clear and refused but I suppose it depends on the teacher!

definately not on, Speak to the school

cheeryface · 19/06/2008 16:14

yes, apparently there were a few kids not able to partake and that group of children were all told they could do fast walking / jogging around the field!

on what planet is that being excused.

i have phoned the school and they are seeing if said teacher is still there to ring me back.

i am very annoyed.

ds1 has a headache now too.

Unacceptable. I would be outside Head's office in the morning. Well, not Saturday morning, obviously. But you know what I mean.
