Ideas for entertaining a large mixed-age Easter playdate at home

Help needed! I have a group of mum friends and I thought it would be fun to invite everyone over for an Easter themed playdate/party at our house. I didn’t want anyone to be left out so I invited the whole group including siblings and in the end it means there will be 10 4 years olds most of whom are boys. 3 20 month olds and a couple of babies. Plus at least 10-20 parents. Our house is an ok size but I’m getting worried about the best way to entertain such a big group.

I have stuff for an egg hunt in the garden which involves finding plastic eggs and at the end everyone brings them back and wins the same prize (a party bag). Otherwise we do have a playroom but not sure how long the selection of toys will keep them entertained. My child is a girl and mostly boys coming so the toys are a bit less boy centric. We have a slide and swings in the garden plus a couple of balls and a sandpit so hopefully that will take up some time.

i got some bits to make a sensory box for the toddlers and thought I’d blow up some balloons and put music on so they can dance and jump around a bit. Also I found a game of pin the tail on the bunny involving a blindfold and stickers which could be fun?

parents I’m less worried about, it’s a morning event so I figured coffees, pastries and mimosas would do the trick.does anyone have any other ideas for keeping them entertained? I considered getting a bouncy castle at one point in the garden but the weather looks a bit changeable and wasn’t sure if that might be a bit much?

thanks in advance for the help!

Craft table/ colouring Easter theme for the quieter/ creative children. Construction/ den making corner. Make an Easter bunny den or house.
It sounds lovely.

Easter bonnet competition? Either for the children (you could also do an adult version) to bring with them or to make at the party.

Hard boil some eggs to be decorated by the children.

I would keep them out of the play room- bring any toys that arent too precious or too many bits out into the garden.

cupcake or biscuit decorating
Easter crafts and colouring
easter races eg egg and sppon race etc

Ten 4 year old boys is a lot! I’d keep things outdoor based and non competitive.

I imagine 10x four year olds are going to entertain themselves! Keep them outdoors!

Thanks everyone! Yes very mindful that 10 4 years olds is likely chaos! Hence why initially I thought an outdoor bouncy castle could be a good idea. Will try and think of some more outdoor based games they can play!

Look at Baker Ross Easter crafts on Amazon. They are really simple pre cut crafts that need minimal adult input.
Bubble wands always go down well
and those polystyrene glider planes
