Coparenting and sickness

Im coparenting. I have 6 yr old twins.
Their dad is meant to be having them this weekend. He lives with his gf and her son. He has just told me the child he lives with has been sick in the night and probably best not to have the twins just incase he gets sick to. My argument is their Dad isnt sick, and there is no guarentee he will be sick or my boys. Kids are always exposed to illness/viruses at school etc so dont think its an issue.
What do you think? Should i keep the boys with me or send them anyway.

Personally I’d rather keep them with me and not risk exposing them to a sick bug, partly because, possibly selfishly, I wouldn’t want to worry about them then passing on a sick bug to me.

Me too - I would not want to knowingly expose them to a sickness bug, not just because it is unpleasant for them (and possibly you might get it too!) but because it could complicate any child care arrangements that you have in place for several days.

They are of course exposed to bugs at school but parents are rightly asked to keep children away during and after a sickness bug. Plunging your children into a home where there is this bug, which might also move o9n to the adults, would be foolhardy.

Have you got something already arranged that makes it difficult to keep them with you this weekend?

I do have plans but nothing i cant change.
The child hasnt been sick anymore, only in the night. Dont think its a bug.
