Little Lamb reusables - any opinions?

Does anyone have an opinion - good, bad or indifferent on little lamb nappies? I was particularly contemplating the microfibre ones as drying is an issue.

First baby due in Oct so I have no clue as to what I may be dealing with!

Afraid I haven't tried Little Lamb, but microfibre is the business. Our Fluffles dry overnight on a rack in our chilly house, and have stayed soft and fluffy in very hard water. And because microfibre dry so quickly you can buy far fewer. We manage with only 6 for our toddler and only wash every 2 days (he does wear a disposable overnight, but only for our convenience cos he tends to poo first thing in the morning, and that way we don't have to do all the rinsing in the toilet business). You'd need a few more than 6 for a newborn, especially if they turn out to be the sort who poo about 8 times a day (mine was), but still less than you'd need with non-microfibre ones.

cheap tat (a bit harsh I know but they are)

Lovage - thanks for advice re microfibre - I think its yhe way to go for us

Octo - eek! cheap tat - really?

Anyone else have an opinion??

I think they are fine (I appear to be having a 'disagree with everything Octo says' day today...sooo sorry octo .

I have some which are on their second baby and they still work well - they have improved their quality a lot of late. Don't use their wraps though - get motherease instead - far superior!

My friend had used little lamb microfibre for about 6 months - she got them when they first came out and she loves them. She had previously been using their cotton nappies for 18 months but changed to MF when she needed a quicker drying time due to her going back to work.

ha! just remembered her cotton Little lambs that she used for 18m were factory seconds - so if they last that long and are still fine they can't be all that bad I guess.

SpecialOffer · 20/06/2008 20:30

I used a few little lambs and found them fine, just as good as my tots.

I like them, but have only been using them a few weeks. I have microfibre and bamboo ones and they fit ds2 really well. ~The wrap fits him well too. I have only got a couple.

Why are they cheap tat?

Denny185 · 21/06/2008 11:42

I use the cotton ones and their wraps and love them. They are on their 2nd child equally good for boy and girl. Drying time can be an issue for the cotton (I tend to finish them off in the tumble dryer) but dont know what the absorbancy is like with microfibres

lackaDAISYcal · 21/06/2008 11:48

i loved them. the best out of all that i tied (tots, bimbles, bambinex etc) for containing BF baby poo. they never leaked once

I'd be interested in trying their bamboo ones next time.

BigBadMouse · 21/06/2008 12:00

The bamboo ones are lovely but rather thick -great for nighttimes but not so good under tight trousers! ...and they take a long time to dry ZZZzzzzzzz
