Molluscu maybe?

TemporarilyCantDoMyself · 26/02/2026 20:40

Looks like the beginning of chicken pox?

CharlotteSometimeslikesanafternoonnap · 26/02/2026 20:41

Agree, looks like start of chicken pox.

Does look like CP, if it is there will be more spots rapidly developing. Some may begin to fill with fluid.

OtterMummy2024 · 26/02/2026 20:49

Could also be HFMD.

PeachOP · 26/02/2026 20:50

She's already had chicken pox!

Look poxy. See if they develop. Is she poorly? ‘Viral rashes’ sometimes present like this.

FcukTheDay · 26/02/2026 20:51

Molluscum contagiosum

Both mine had chicken pox twice.

The younger the child when they have chickenpox, the higher the likelihood that they will have it again. I seem to recall reading that under-2s may not develop immunity from having chickenpox.

Theonlywayicanloveyou · 26/02/2026 21:23

That’s the start of chicken pox. Strap in!

She's already had chicken pox!

When? Under 18 months and they don’t get full immunity. I know a few friends whose kids had it 1 but again (and more full blown) as an older toddler or primary school age child

She was 11 months! Ah sounds like chicken pox then, thanks everyone. I've never had chicken pox before, should I sleep next to her she is quite uncomfortable

Yep I’ve had the pox twice, once when I was very young, apparently quite ill with it but hardly any spots. Again when I was 7 or 8, head to toe spots but happy as a clam throughout.

Sympathies OP, our nursery have had one confirmed case of chicken pox last week so we’re just on pins waiting now…

Helplessandheartbroke · 26/02/2026 22:01

Hand foot and mouth it looks to me

StuartLittle · 26/02/2026 23:29

Scabies.

Eggybreadwithnuts · 26/02/2026 23:33

Do you have a cat? Flee bites?

Caitl995 · 26/02/2026 23:35

Can you add more pics? One of mine had chicken pox more than once.

Bobbi73 · 27/02/2026 00:09

My eldest had children pox a couple of times. I gave him piriton to help with itching and sleeping. Loads of calamine lotion and lots of TLC. It’s better when they are small as you can bring them into your bed with you so you can keep an eye on them. It should pass quite quickly.

Rayqueen2026 · 27/02/2026 01:05

Chicken pox or a viral infection. Doesn't matter if she has had chicken pox you can get it multiple times in your life at different degrees. It's currently going around adults in the town I work in and it makes adults quite ill.

I had chicken pox, confirmed by paediatrician, four times! 😳

I had chicken pox at 36. Nothing has made me feel more ill for three weeks. Sleep with her as it’s infectious two weeks prior to spots. If you’re going to catch it you will have by now.
I really hope it isn’t. You should get vaccinated.
