Children’s music players

I'm looking into different children's music players and wondered if you had had any recommendations. My DC are 4 and 2, I want one device that will go in their bedroom and will hopefully last them for the next few years at least. We have approx. £100 Xmas/ birthday money to spend. I’m not against screen-free options but don’t want lots of additional apps etc. We have a Spotify family subscription.

Current considerations:

-Tonie box
-Yoto player (Unsure about ongoing price of figures and cards with these two options)
-Old device e.g iPhone connected to a Bluetooth speaker
-Bluetooth/ DAB/ CD player (cds seem readily available and affordable 2nd hand e.g Julia Donaldson bundles on Vinted and DC could purchase with pocket money)

Any ideas welcome!

We have a bluetooth speakers that we connect to Spotify and the occasional free trial of audible

We have two currently in my daughters room one with a light that projects onto the ceiling and the other is part of a karaoke kit.

She also has meditation that plays all night through the speaker.

I would go for a Yoto over a Tonies as A LOT more content and a lot more for older children. Podcast can be used as a blue tooth speaker as well.
we have had one for years and years and honestly it’s one of my favourite purchases used every day.

I think with the cards it’s as expensive as you make it. There is free content, you can make you own either reading or putting cds, playlists etc on a card. And they often have sales

have popped a link below for £15 off.

Sorry also forgot to say I love the Yoto cause it does not need any adult involvement most of the time so they can just be incharge.

My DD has a karaoke machine I got from Amazon which is also a speaker and she loves it.

I actually agree about the yoto despite the affiliate link above, the customer service is excellent and you can get make your own cards which let you upload your own content.
We bought them when our respective children were just about 2 years old, and we mainly use the sleepy noise, the(free) daily educational podcast, and the make your own cards.
The latest ones have a magnetic charger as an extra cost, which I would not recommend, as the USB cable is fine.
They are really robust and you only have to buy once, as they offer a great warranty.
You can download the app before you buy and get an idea of the free content on your phone before you commit.

We have got a yoto which is really good and my son still uses every night aged 8 but another option is an echo dot if you have an amazon account.
