She was such a happy baby but has become so whiny and unhappy. I just can’t take it. I think her molars are coming at the moment too. She used to be a good eater but hates everything at the moment.

When does it get better??

My eldest never whined, I hardly knew he was teething half the time. He’s now 6.

My son took teething very, very badly. The molars and canines, especially, which all came between 12 and 18 months. He would be whiney, not sleep, go off his food. Poor thing, broke my heart and drove me nuts at the same time. Calpol and nurofen every evening and calpol in the day when needed.

I say that assuming she's walking by the way? My son was walking at 12 months but was very whiney for a couple of months before that, he was just so frustrated, he really wanted to walk!

Can you give calpol and Nurofen everyday for weeks on end for teething?

No she can’t walk yet, she isn’t interested to be honest. I try to hold her hand and she flops down on to the floor on her bum.
