Feel exhausted and worn down.

I work full time 37.5 hours a week and started a new job, I have always struggled with fatigue and anxiety. With me being fatigue I can't do much and usually choose to do housework most days as DH does bare minimum (once a week he will tick chores off a list and thats him done as he feels there is no need for constant cleaning). After working, chores, food shopping, laundry I have no energy left and feel I can't be a good enough mom for my DD who is 10. She is happy to stay on her phone talking to her friends and watching her TV. We don't go out as much as we are in a slump with being at home after the Christmas break. She has said I'm not fun anymore and I don't play with her as much and DH is more fun. What does everyone else do to keep a balance as I am exhausted trying to do everything.

I pay for help and also lower standards generally. I'd rather forego luxuries, nice food or new clothes than spend time ironing or mopping. DH isn't great either. And i grew up in a house with a similar dynamic where my mum worked all hours and came.home and did everything. While i appreciate her now, all my childhood memories are of mum being stressed and an absolute killjoy and my dad being the fun one. I didn't really have the capacity as a child and teenager to understand what was going on. I remember I couldn't wait to get away from my mum when I was 18. Poor woman was buckling under the pressure of running the household while working 60 hours a week.
