What shall I dress my baby in at night? She’s 8 weeks old and since bringing her home she’s slept in short sleeve vest, sleep suit and cellular blanket. She’s started wiggling about and waking up sideways. So I thought we need to introduce sleeping bag. I’ve got the tommee tippee bath and room thermometer that showing 22 at 7:30 pm but in the morning it feels colder . I’ve put her in a sleep suit and 1.5 tog sleeping bag is that too much?

I've always followed this guidance

I'd say that bag is too light for this time of year, but check the temperature later at night/in the early hours. My little one is currently wearing a 3.5tog sleeping bag with a long sleeve sleep suit (but no vest). His room drops to about 16 degrees overnight at the moment, he sleeps really well. He was in a 2.5 tog but was waking about 5am (cold I think) but this has stopped since using the 3.5 tog. There are lots of guides (as per above). I have a 1 tog for summer, 0.5tog for holidays, 2.5 tog which is used for the majority of the year, then 3.5 tog when it's much colder.
