Daughter banging her head on cot sides

Hello. My 18 months old daughter is a big wriggler at bed time and she hangs her head and her whole body against the cot sides during her sleep.
She stays asleep most of the times, but it makes me anxious to hear it and see it on the baby camera.
Has anyone experienced anything similar and how did you try to fix this? I’m very frustrated and needing some advice, please.
I thought about getting her a single bed with soft bumper sides, but I’m worried she’ll jump over as still very young.
Thank you in advance! ☺️

Sorry I meant bangs her head and body, not hang.

We've recently switched to a floor bed for our 13 month old and it has changed our lives. That could be an option.

However, if she's not even waking up most of the time, then I wouldn't worry about it.

You mentioned getting a single with soft bumper sides....

So I cosleep in a king bed, but we have the soft bumper sides that you can pull up and down that enclosed the entire bed. My daughter is 20 months and she doesn't try and climb out. Obviously, I'm in there with her when I sleep but there are times when I'm not in there (when she's have the motivation to climb out) like when I settle her to sleep or if she wakes up from a nap and has never tried to climb out, not sure if she could if she tried.

My daughter also likes to sleep close to the sides for some reason, shes old enough now that it's not a danger and it's very soft, nothing to bang her head on.

Also you could use the single bed in a few years when she's older.

A few friends in the same situation used a travel cot with mesh sides

I usually position teddies all around the sides. She is old enough, and likes to snuggle.

Thank you for sharing your experience.
So when they start sleeping on a floor bed without guards, do I guess they fell on the floor when rolling over?
I’m worried about this, and don’t know if she’ll get used to it.
Or concerned she’ll wake up to play with toys or touch everything around the room

She’s 18 months old. This isn’t a problem unless she’s hurting herself or waking. If it’s stressing you out to see it then keep the sound on but the video off. She’ll be old enough soon to sleep in a bed so it’s only a problem for a few months max.

Thank you so much for your advice, it really helps to know we’re not alone.
Did your kid rolled out of bed?
I’m concerned that she will and start crying bless.
or get up and touch all around her room hehe

She hasn't rolled off yet, but it's a double mattress so she has tons of space. And obvs, it's very close to the ground anyways so I wouldn't be concerned, if she did roll off one night.

We lie with her until she's asleep and we have the baby monitor so we hear if she wakes up and go in before she can start playing haha. She usually sleeps through though! I also credit that to the floor bed. It really improved her sleep overall.
