Fussy baby 5 months-should I be worried?

My baby is almost never settled, easily frustrated and just generally not happy. Settled moments last no more than a minute or so. Parents of extremely fussy/unhappy babies when did it get better or how did it turn out? I’m beginning to wonder if something just isn’t quite right and wondering if there are other signs I should be aware of. His tongue tie has already been corrected. By 5 months I would have thought things should have settled at least somewhat. I get some breaks in the carrier and bath only. Things seem to be getting worse not better.

What have you looked into so far?

What should I be looking into? His diet but changing his diet hasn’t affected anything.

My 7 month old was like this. Due to some other symptoms doctors suspected CMPA so she was put on prescription milk. She improved for a while but has recently reverted right back to how she was. I’m now not convinced on CMPA and think it might be silent reflux.

Does your little one have any other symptoms apart from general fussiness? Do they seem in pain, arching of back etc and are there any times of day that are worse than others? Do they get enough sleep? An overtired baby can be a very grumpy baby. DD is my third and she’s my far the most unsettled. I sympathise but there are so many things it could be at this age.
