Sorry if this has been done to death!

I'm looking for a sling for a newborn that I can feed in and preferably get off and on fairly easily.

DS will only 'let' me get 1 more sling so I need all the advice I can get!!

Thanks

A ring sling - easy to pop on and off, loads of different positions, and easy to feed in.

I had an Ellaroo, but theres loads of prettier ones. Have you tried buying second hand on the Yahoo group ?

Huggababy ring sling is good for feeding in and easy to slip on and take off so you can lay the baby down while sleeping in it. It is quite padded though, so maybe a bit too hot if baby is due in summer.

moby wrap

easy to use and very comfy for you and baby

hi,
we were given a fantastic sling by a friend. they are from New Zealand but the postage is only £7 to the uk, and it has been admired many times. it is super soft and easy to get on and off by a clip, and i use it ALL the time with my 4 mth old to go shopping, dog walikng, housework, etc and breast fed in it. there is a website i think or google 'Natures Sway' slings. x

For a newborn - maybe upto 4 months for regular use, I found a Corrie Fleece Pouch great. No tying or fuss, just sling it over your shoulder. You can also slip it off and keep them in it to lie them down easily. Found that great for newborns, who are always falling asleep. My newborn loved it, as he was v comfortable lying down in it and great to breastfeed in. He didn't like my Didymos or Wilkinet when he was tiny. It's useful for short distances when they're older, but depending on weight not for too long.
