Out of night nappies, but wet, wet, wet....

As it's summer, we decided to take the plunge with DS (just turned 4) and get rid of the night nappies. He's been in pants since 2 and is totally up for it. Only been going three days, but he's so tired as keeps waking at 5am, forgets and wees himself. Cue us changing his wet clothes and bed clothes. Hugs and cuddles, saying it doesn't matter, etc, back to bed but then he's too awake to get back to sleep. He's not upset by it, just so tired poor thing. Any thoughts anyone...?

Yeah we have this problem as well. DS is 4 and does a big wee before bed, no drinks for half an hour before etc etc.

As soon as he is in a deep sleep, he wees. Have no idea what to do about it other than let him wear a pull up until it stops.

He does it whether he has a pull up on or not.

BBB that's interesting, thank you.
Cece, hey, what a result. Hooray for you! Fingers crossed it's not just a one off though. This end, we were fine until morning, then another wet bed. He's definitely not peeing in his sleep, so who knows we might not be too far away from dry nights.
So now have gone and got some pull ups. I'm going to ask him to still gets up to use potty if he can (our bathroom is down two flights of stairs, so we're letting him use a potty rather than trek all that way). Sort of a half way house I suppose. Will wait until the pull up's dry in morning before trying without again. I could cope if it was just a sheet, but the duvet gets soaked through too. Far too much washing, even on a sunny day..

Don't blame you smee - I couldn't be doing with all that washing every day either. Mainly why I haven't tried before!

I am hoping it is not a one off.....
