Advice about my 7 month old

Hello! Just posting in hopes for abit of advice! I’m a mom of 2. My first baby was a chilled happy baby and never had this issues so all feels abit new!
My Second baby is 7 months old and is usually a happy content little soul. Happily plays on her mat with toys etc. the last 2 weeks, in a nice round about way have been dreadful. she has constantly cried/whinged what feels like all day. Doesn’t ever want to be put down, cries and coughs that much she is making herself sick. Cries during feeding, only cat naps for about 30-40 mins (which isn’t enough at all for her). Wakes up miserable, will only nap on someone and will not let me put her down. She’s just got over a cough/cold. I took her to the docs as I’m quite an anxious mom and they told me it’s viral and teething. I’ve tried all the tips and tricks with teething. Tried to give her calpol but she just sicks it up. Is this just a leap? Seperation anxiety? I’m exhausted and over thinking everything. I’ve just had an op too so it’s been really difficult. Just want to see if anyone else has experienced this with their LOs and if it will get better?? Help please lol

6-12 months was utterly fucking miserable and very hard work for us A long period of teething, colds, teething, hand foot and mouth, more teething, while also crawling and walking at 10 (!) months, and sleeping worse than the newborn days. I watched other mums with chilled out 8-9 months olds and thought "hmmmm those are the mums that go on to have a second child" 😅 really peaked at 12 months when he got 2 molars at the same time. I put on so much weight in those 6 months from stress eating.

Very, very happy and chill toddler since 13 months.

So it does pass.

Still cannot even stomach the idea of a second child. I'm too traumatised 😅

I would have said teething. Try nurofen, tiny squirts at a time and anbesol liquid. These are the most effective medications for teething.

Sorry you're having a hard time at the moment. Itll pass soon and i hope it becomes a foreign memory soon
If its teething I always find ibprufin helped my little one a bit more than calpol?

@BoyFTM645 thank you for your reply!! In a way it’s nice to read that someone else has been through the same and it’s not just me!! That sounds hella rough!! But I’m glad so glad it’s passed for you now and you’ve got a happy baba!! Just hoping the same happens this end 😂😅
