Frequent wetting

We’re not sure what to do. Our DD is 3.5 and we potty trained her at 2.3 months. It went well initially, but over a year later she’s having frequent wee accidents daily. Yesterday for example, she wet herself five times, despite going to the toilet. One of those times she was actually in the bathroom, standing next to the loo, as I was running her bath.

We've been the the GP and ruled out a UTI, and I’ve been on the ERIC website, but I’m not sure what to do next. We do suspect it could be related to poor interoception and possible neurodivergence but that doesn’t help us tackle the practical issue.

Anyone been though anything similar? Must admit we feel pretty alone with it.

She's still very young and its quite common to have periods of regression. Is there anything going on to upset her usual routine? Jus keep taking her to the toilet regularly.

It's often caused by constipation. The pressure on the bladder from the full bowel causes the problem. How often is she having a bowel movement?

She’s had some minor excitements lately but no major changes to her routine. Her brother is 10 months now but things have generally settled following that massive adjustment. I wouldn’t necessarily call it a regression if she’s been so inconsistent with it almost since we began. The preschool staff are also scratching their heads so we feel somewhat validated that there is an issue here.

A friend suggested the same thing. She’s pretty regular but there has been some weirdness lately. Thanks, I’ll check this out.
