Advice - family court/ child arrangements

Hello
Just seeing if anyone has any advice on family court as I’ve seen a lot of horror stories recently! I’ll give a bit of backstory.
Me and my ex partner have been no contact for 1 week, we have a 2 year old. 1 week ago, he became very aggressive/threatening in front of our child and I had to make him leave, police came and have advised me to get a non molestation order as this has built up from threats and controlling/coercive behaviour. this is in the process however it is worrying me as I am scared of his reaction/facing him in court.
He has never had our child unsupervised, neither has any of his family. Does anyone know how the non molestation order would affect his contact with our child? I have been advised by police that his visits could be in a contact centre and not supervised by myself or either of our family members.
I am going to look into a child arrangements order aswell, I just wanted to see what anyone else’s experiences are with this. I have felt sick with worry and anxiety over the past week.
thank you 😊

I have both.

For the non-mol you need the following forms

FL401. This is the application. You can request protective measures for the hearing on this form too, such as different entrances and exits to the court, separate waiting rooms and a screen so you don’t have to see him in court.

D89. This is so the court can arrange for a bailiff to serve him with the court date.

EX97A. This is a risk assessment so the bailiffs know what they are dealing with (they want to know if he’s likely to kick off with them).

You also need to include a witness statement. If you are not sure, just type the worst and more recent incidents up and use Chat GPT to summarise and format it for you. It’s great for removing the emotion and making it sound clear and to the point. Check it after to make sure it hasn’t thrown in any assumptions that are not correct. Include any evidence (reference it in your statement as exhibit ‘A’, exhibit ‘B’ etc and attach them to the back of your statement so the judge can easily reference them).
