How Are You Making the 15 Hours for 2 Year Olds Work for You?

Just curious to know how people are making the 15 hours of funded childcare work for them...

I'm looking to go back to work part time because honestly the terrible two's is getting to me and my mental health is suffering because of it. I desperately need to feel like a person rather than a shell, again.

But how is everyone making it work?
Have to work 16 hours to get 15 hours childcare but that doesn't cover your travel time... I'm looking at a bill of around £400 to work 16 hours..? That's seems crazy to me and I don't get how it's beneficial to families. The money left would barely cover my basic personal bills and petrol?

If you've got a magic formula, please spill!

Does your child have another parent? Use them for some of the childcare if so?
I have 30 hours child care and I work less than that but earn over minimum wage - it’s actually 22 hours stretched so just two full days. The other parent does one day with my child too as he has negotiated compressed hours with his work.
