Huckleberry help

I’ve recently upgraded to the sweet spot feature in huckleberry, and feel like I must be doing something totally wrong.
little one has never fallen asleep near the sweet spot (maybe 30 minutes later), only naps for 30 minutes (unless in the baby carrier out a walk), not the 1/1.5 hours the app suggests.

little one pretty much always need rocked to sleep.

I feel like a totally failure. They’re upset at most nap times but I can’t seem to get them to sleep any earlier.

I don’t really know what I’m looking for. Advice?

Thank you.

I feel like a failure when my niece apparently falls asleep within 5 minutes of what the app says, with just her dummy in her pram/ cot. SIL says she’s been that way since 8 weeks.

Babies are all completely different though. They do what they do. Mine never went to sleep without support. You aren't a failure. You don't win awards for baby sleep. It's a pain if they are unpredictable but 14 weeks is very young. How old is your older child?

@Allswellthatendswelll I know, it’s just getting to me that everyone (my aunties/ uncles/ in-laws etc) are all saying their kids slept 12 hours uninterrupted at this age. Older child is 3.5, they were an awful sleeper for the first year and even then still woke a few nights a week.

@Nicolem9 I assumed the app would change awake windows/ nap times with the information I was putting in but it hasn’t 🤦‍♀️ so many people swear by it as well.

People love to talk about how well their babies slept. Statistically they are very much the minority. You just don't hear from the exhausted, touched out bunch because we're all equally exhausted to you.

I have a 10 week old and i’m currently using this app. I’m really only using it as a ‘guide’ he almost never falls asleep at the time it suggests maybe 30/40 mins either side of it, but it gives me a rough guide so i go with it, or if the ‘sweet spot’ is coming up at say 10.30 i’ll try from 10am to wind him down, change his bum so gives me 30 mins to actually start getting him to sleep haha! Most of the time he needs to sleep on me.
Dont read too much into it though. I was crazy with it with my first so this one im much more relaxed with it - although not relaxed enough to get rid of the app 🤣🤣
