How old is your Little one ?

I stopped any drink after 6.30pm encouraged one last wee before lights out and kept a potty by his bed - but to be honest he was ready when he was ready and has been dry at night for about 2 months now. He is 3.4.

But by the same token his cousin who is 4 still has accidents about twice a month.

Good luck

Nothing, really.

Use night time protcetion (pull up or similar) untill they are usually dry. Teh use a matress protecor. Change the sheets without comment when they're wet, and one day, when your LO is ready, they will be dry at night.

DS1 was dry at 7, DS2 at 3 ish - DD at 2.2

dd not dry at night (nearly 5)

DD 7 has just had 8 dry nights. Never been dry, tried without nappies about a year ago with no luck just wet sheets for two weeks. Decided to wait till it happened on it own or till she was 7 (min age you can get medical help). So just before she turned 7 I took her to the doctor They took a urine sample and handed the case over to the HV. But before we got to see the HV we had the first ever dry nappy and that was 8 night ago. Spoke to HV to tell her and was told it about a hormone and when it kicks in it slows down urine prodution at night. When that happen it very common for children to become dry over night.
Sorry a bit long their but my point is wait and they become dry in the end.

How old is your DC?

There isn't much you can do.

DD is 6 and only recently in last few months has become reliably dry at nght, despite beong dry during the day from 24 months. Nothing helped - not restricting liquids, not lifting, nothing.

We got the bed mat things from Mothercare that go over the top of the sheet. Made changing the bed if she had an accident much easier. Just had to change the mat and not the rest of the bedding.

DD refused to wear the bed pants from 4yo.

he will be 5 in July
ok so:
stop drinks after 6pm.
matress cover
lots of standby sheets

am Very reluctant to buy those sleep shorts, they are too much like pull ups to my mind...crap & expensive.

will wait
and do these things for a month
