Early morning baby wake ups- anyone cracked it?

Has anyone managed to get rid of the random early baby wake ups at all? 9mos little one was also trained before but it's all gone out the window now. Teething and separation anxiety, screaming at bedtime (though not for long thankfully). This I can all manage, it's my second kid, but we've now had about 4 weeks of waking at 430-445am and it is killing us. I've tried earlier bed time, later bed time, less naps, more naps, bfeeding to sleep, pat shh, water and a cuddle, lying with her. She's up by 6-630am properly, and wake windows are 3/3/4. Naps are one short then one long. She seems too awake for Ferber... anyone had any luck nailing this?

Me !! But not until 14 months sorry!!

I’ve done Ferber for first sleep for ages and it worked after a few weeks so he always goes asleep independenly

he used to wake ar 1&4 and I was feeding back to sleep as it was quicker but 90% of the time he was just up for the day at 4

i decided to cut out the night milk so at 1am husband went in instead of me with water - he absolutely lost it as only wanted milk but we were persistent and he eventually accepted water

this didn’t work for the 4am one

so what we did was take him into my bed 10 min feed and a quick cuddle back to bed then after a few days I lowered the feed to 8 mins, then 6, and cut it out in the end and offered only water and a cuddle!

hes still waking at 4 by he only needs reassurance now and he goes back until 6.30/7 so it’s a massive improvement

I’m hoping now the milk is stopped he will eventually just stop waking up at 4

Bed time 15 minutes later and nap 15 minutes shorter helped mine sleep longer. Though we have accepted that the day starts at 6.45 now 😬

If your little one starts crawling (if they aren't yet), the extra movement helps tire them. Then it will all go to shit when they realise they can pull to stand in the cot!

Edited

Yes I managed to get down to water and a cuddle for a while then she stopped waking for it, then it stopped working again and she woke up repeatedly until I fed her again. So I've created a rod I know. I'm back to water and a cuddle now but she's up for at least an hour, definitely needs more sleep though as she does want to go back down around 6 until 7...

I think she's not napping enough cut the's the crawling has begun! Fingers xd... though she can now stand in the crib so that's a whole other battle.... she's just in a rush to do everything. All the teeth. She's on her 8th tooth and only just turned 9 mos today!

630-7pm bed and 40 min nap at 9am followed by a 1.5hr nap around 12.15 :)

My DD was doing similar at that age however I think the first two WWs she was doing more like 3.5hrs awake between 6.30am and 8pm. If she was sleeping from 6.30-6.30 that would be 12 hours overnight which for many babies is too much (my DD maxes out at 10.5 hours). I usually find when we get a long night wakeup it's from undertiredness and more daytime awake hours needed. Not in any way an expert though, just my own experience!! Also, she is now 15 months and since 12/13 months sleep has been much more consistent. x

So is he going back to sleep at 4am until 6am?

I think you need to gradually push that nap time to 9.30 and maybe cut to 30 mins. It will morph into one lunch nap eventually. It's a tricky time as you head to the 12 month mark.

After an hour of fussing playing and crying, yes she will go down for another 45m-1hr
