What "values" do you hope to instill in your children?

I was wondering about this the other day when reading a biography of someone alive during/just after WW2 who seemed to have been taught to value things that we don't emphasise at all now - duty, pride in country, lack of complaining, but speaking out against injustice.
My own DCs seem to be taught only to "be kind" though my DS who has additional needs is sometimes praised for "good choices".
What do you think your DCs are taught about and what would you like them to learn?
I'm not sure what I hope for from my own DCs but I think having a fulfilling life and being a productive member of society are part of it - which is very different to "being happy" and "being kind". Though again my opinion!

Self sufficiency is number 1 - how to be strong and adaptable and not rely too much on the state or other people.

Number 2 is how to see things objectively and realise when your views are actually coming from a place of jealousy, fear etc - and not to be too proud to admit mistakes, or that you’ve changed your mind.

Honesty, resilience, bravery, duty to others, sense of justice, humility, and compassion.

I think it's really important to think about values as it forms the framework of your parenting.

Resilience, belief in herself, to never apologise for being a female, critical thinking, compassion, hunger for learning and confidence.
At 13 she has also got amazing boundaries and will stand up for her beliefs.
