At what age do toddlers stop napping?

My DD is 25 months and will only go down for a nap if she is in her pram out for a walk. This is fine when the weather is good, however worried about winter time. At what age do toddlers generally stop napping please (I know each child is different but just trying to get an idea).

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My LO is 2.5 and still really needs his nap but some of his friends the same age are starting to drop it now

18 months and 14 months.
As always with children, it varies.

DS stopped at around 19 months. DD would still do it everyday now if she could, she's 22 (years)!

My almost three year old insists on naptime still so we go with it🤣 he tells me after lunch, “it’s naptime mum!”

Interestingly, with males, there is only a window of 'stopping napping' of about forty-five years before it starts again.🥱

😂😂😂😂😂😂

Oldest was still napping till half way through reception.
Youngest gave them up at 20 months.
(Which was frustrating as a small age gap so I really missed having some quiet time in the afternoon and had to stop the younger one waking the older one up)

I’d say about two and a half is right. My DS is now four and a half and he stopped nodding off in the car at about three and three quarters / four. I think that’s when they absolutely definitely don’t need the nap. It’s a long rocky road!

Thank you everyone for sharing. We missed a nap today due to unforeseen circumstances and little madam had quite a number of tantrums. I had to keep her awake for a little longer so she sleeps through the night. Fingers crossed she actually does xx
