DLA for incontinence?

I’m wondering if anyone has submitted a claim for dla for incontinence? My DD who’s 10 has suffered with incontinence her whole life, she wets herself minimum 4 times a day, despite MULTIPLE visits to the GP, and referral failings she is been under an incontinence nurse about a year who did the usual input and output charts. Advised to up her fluid intake and try again with the charts, still no difference so she referred to urologist as it appears she has a very small bladder and probably needs medication, the urologist waiting list is long. I’m washing her multiple changes of clothes and bedding daily, showers twice a day, I work full time, I’m a single parent my electric bill is £150 a month! I have to buy a pack of knickers monthly, plus washing powder, toiletries etc. I was provided with 5 pairs of continence knickers by them but the only help with a dribble and she won’t wear them outside of the home. She’s my only child, my ivf baby and my world and I feel awful for even expecting help. I was chatting to a friend about it and she suggested I should submit a claim for some financial help, is it worth the paperwork or will I just be rejected? No judgement please it’s difficult enough.

I’m pretty sure it one of the things they ask about on the forms. Does she have any other needs at all? It sounds very hard on you and I can appreciate all that washing and cleaning you’re having to do, let alone the huge bills too

She has a very specific diet and was referred to cahms eating disorder clinic to rule out ARFID diagnoses but because she gets enough calories they put it down to sensory processing stemming from historic food allergies however I was advised our postcode doesn’t qualify for any assistance. She has no other traits that would suggest autism (thankfully)
