The past 10 days, I've noticed that my son has been getting worse with eating, refusing food. He's been biting holes in all of his dummies, waking up screaming, refused naps but I've since realized that's because of the dummies having holes in. Ive since kept dummies to bed time only BUT the last 2 days have been awful, vomitting while eating, not drinking as much fluid and won't even touch yoghurt and hasn't drank milk for a few weeks now. It's got gradually worse as the days have gone on, has anyone else's babies vomited while cutting their last teeth? I'm pretty sure he has done this a couple of times but how long is too long to not be eating much? He is drinking but not as much as normal and having wet nappies just a bit lighter but still frequent! Seems like this is going on forever

My almost 3 year olds back molars have been giving him hell for the last few months. He's a terrible eater anyway but he's worse when teething. Totally empathise with you because it's a fucking nightmare 😭

@Devilsmommy God, tell me about it. He's always been bad teething as he seems to get a group coming in at once 😞 these are particularly bad though, hes going through the constant saying no stage too at the same time so I feel like I'm really trying my best to hold it together at the moment with food it's SO frustrating with the constant refusal, if he isn't eating today I might take him to the doctors to check his ears/throat

There is a nasty stomach bug going around so watch out in case it's not teething.

My daughter has awful silent reflux and teething made her reflux so so bad. All the extra drool upsets the stomach.

It's really odd. Fine most of the day, but being really, really fussy with food/drink. No temperature, bright red cheeks it's seems like hes got more of a sore throat which I believe he has because mines started today. Also, when he eats it's like he's gagging then throws it up, he did it again and hour or so again but kept food down all day, only small portions more snacky things.

When I am I meant to go and get him checked this is day 6 of awful eating and say 3 of vomit while eating no runs though. My partner thinks I'm over reacting wanting to get a second opinion to check his ears and throat though

A week of poor eating and query sore throat I'd probably try to see the Dr, just to be on the safe side. Most likely teething or viral but doesn't hurt to get a doctor /nurse to check out the throat and to give them the once over

For context my daughter had a temperature for 5 days off her food at 21 months. On day 5 I got her in the GP and left with antibiotics. Her fever was higher than we thought as our thermometer had started to malfunction. Her temperature was 37.something at home but at the drs it was nearly 41! Had she not been hot to the touch and mopey I would have left it another couple of days.

Yeah I was thinking viral tbh as me and my partner both have a rough throat. Maybe it's abit if COVID or something like that for him to be sick. God knows at this point, so stressful not knowing what to do and when to worry if you know what I mean. Yeah, my thermometer is saying around 37.1 but he is very red cheeked, clingy, moany etc. I think if he is still off tomorrow I might just phone the doctors up in the morning
