How long between wet nappies for three month old?

A couple of times over the past few days I’ve checked his nappy after two-three hours and the line is still yellow. Last week we hit the three month breastfeeding crisis and he was feeding less frequently then, but it’s picked up again and he’s feeding around 12 times per day for about 3 hours. He’s been pooping once or twice a day, but there’s been a change in his urine output. He used to pee all the time, and whenever I checked his nappy the pee line would be blue, but now it’s not always. Is there a development around this point where they hold pee more and do bigger wees less frequently or should I be concerned? He’s alert and content generally and meeting milestones.

I think, if he doesn't have other signs of dehydration, he's probably fine. It's hot, he probably using more liquid in his body. Also if he is growing fast, his bladder probably is, so he can hold more wee!

My DD has just turned 3 months and I’ve noticed fewer wet nappies and less poos. It seems like as soon as she hit 3 months her habits changed! My DD tends to have a few wet nappies in the morning, then fewer throughout the day. I shouldn’t worry unless there are signs of dehydration.
