My little one is 5 months old. We are planning our first holiday abroad with him and wondered if anyone has any tips/ suggestions on things to take to make things easier? For example sterilising/ bottle making etc.

Hey. We’ve just got back with our 6month old. For sterilising I bought a collapsible bucket off Amazon and we did cold water with Milton tablets. Washed the bottles in tap water. Made them up with boiled bottled water xx

Don’t take formula as part of your luggage allowance! You can do an online click & collect boots order to the airport. You can do that for loads of your baby items too tbf, and products and toiletries if you aren’t taking hold luggage. As above, Milton tablets are your friend. We take a massive Tupperware in the case though with bottles in. Take/order to boots some of the premade too to keep in your change bag for any urgent feeds, travelling can mess about with the routine sometimes. Consider room air con in your choice of sleep suits/gro bags. A sling for the flight so if they sleep you can be hands free. Some milk for take off and landing to help with the pressure in their ears. Buggy fan, bug net for the pram if you have one. Baby friendly insect repellent if relevant to wherever you are travelling. We got some really good insect repellent stickers that you stick on the back of their clothes when DD1 was a baby.
