My tots size 2s are looking really stained and I'm going to use them for another good few years.

How do you clean yours?

thanks

give them a hot wash then stick them in bright sunlight

cold rinse, hot wash and sunlight - magic!

If there's no sun then apparently a frosty morning can have the same effect. But yes, sunshine is a miracle worker.

Defnitely sunshine. I bought some lovely unbleached terry squares (mainly because I love the colour did a pre-wash, hung them out on the line for a day and they all came in white! . We do have very strong sunlight here being right next to the sea. My nappy stash has been out in the sun twice recently and I can see the difference. I'll send you some cornish sunshine your way if you like.

A moonlit night (full moon) is also apparently quite effective.

I have also heard a couple of people mention that one-life nappy sanitiser gets them nice and white (it does say 'not for coloured nappies' on the pack I think so possibly is true). I am assunming your tots aren't rainbow tots.

hmm, the sun's not really doing it for them

any other ideas?

you could try borax, that fades 'organic' stains ,boots do it and you might find it in supermarkets with an eco cleaning section
