Recommendations on baby dolls in prep for arrival of new baby

Can anyone advise on baby dolls for an about-to-be big sister? Have been looking online at the usual Baby Born, Annabell, Abigail, Cupcake Lucy etc etc, and as they all look varying degrees of vile, too complicated or just big, I don't know what to choose.

My daughter is 21 months old and on the small side so I can't give her anything too heavy. I don't want anything with terribly complex functions; just something that she can haul around and pretend to do mummy things with, ideally, including bathe it.

Grateful for any wise words.

I got DS a bog standard baby from Mothercare. It was about £8 and came with a little outfit, nappy, bottle etc.
He practised so much changing the baby's nappy that he is now an expert and helps me change the real baby's nappy now he is here lol

any nice looking doll will do really - it doesn't even have to be a "baby" doll. I would buy a normal plastic jointed doll for bathing (fisher price do a bathable "little mommy" - shudder - doll but I think it's expensive. I won mine on mn!)

a couple of bits of equipment - pushchair, nappies, cot always go down well though.

any doll will do . really. I have 3 girls and we have LOADS of dolls ranging from expensive jobs that do all sorts of things to £1 dolls from NCT sales. All are equally loved and played with. Your daughter will love whatever she gets!!

Any doll will do,I find the slightly ugly or freaky looking ones are best, because with Baby born/baby Annabel you'll have at least one occasion when you turn round and are briefly convinced that DD has pinched the baby and has it lying on it's face or see something out of the corner of your eye and wonder why baby is in car seat when you've just put them in their pram
