Chicken Pox and Potty training

Yep! Seriously need advice! So given it’s a long weekend my plan was to try and tackle potty training! It’s not the first attempt, she’s 3, I’m sure she knows she has to do it but is reluctant 🤦🏻‍♀️
HOWEVER! She started with chicken pox yesterday, spots were literally only on her bum yesterday morning, and I put it down to heat rash, oops! But now they are on back of her knees, hairline, couple on her face, but the worst area is her bottom and near her lady parts!
Im torn - we’re stuck in anyway so should I try potty with her again? Will it increase the risk of infection? But then again if she’s not in pants trying potty she’ll always end up with a dirty nappy on her anyway, no matter how quick I change her!
She doesn’t seem unwell, and thus far is not too itchy, and eating and drinking, playing as normal. I also have aveeno oatmeal bath and cream and calamine lotion.
Advice please xxx

I wouldn’t. Potty training can be a slog. Last thing I’d want is illness in the mix. If she’s reluctant already then she’ll maybe be irritable with the chicken pox on top of that. Sounds like a recipe for disaster to me.

Thank you, honest opinion was what I was looking for. This is my first rodeo as a mum and chicken pox

Nope. Can you imagine trying to learn a new skill when you have the flu or other illness making you feel like crap? It's frustrating but it's not the right time.

Honestly nappy free time was fantastic for us during chicken pox the nappy made the spots "sweat" and some got infected

@Theunamedcatthis was my thought…. So I was conflicted, thank you xxx

She’s not seeming unwell in herself though, intact she’s frustrated that I can’t take her to soft play, the tunnel slide at the park and shopping (my girl loves a trolley and a browse haha), but I realise this could change!
