All the tips please!
Aiming to start this weekend Fri sat sun and Mon can all be home days, he’s at nursery Tue wed and Thur and they’ll be supportive.

we have the ladder and small toilet seat on the actual toilet, no little potty, he seems interested by the actual loo.

is it just a case of nappy off and then taking him to the toilet every 30mins?

Hi, we recently potty trained our little boy who is a similar age - we went no nappy and just a t shirt with constant reminders to use the potty. Lots of praise around sitting on the potty/toilet, a chocolate button or a sticker for all wees at first with this eventually just being for a poo and then phasing it out.

See how he gets on, we tried a few weeks before and he was clearly not ready. This time he was much more receptive and it was relatively easy. Just get a good carpet spray and stay calm if there are any accidents

Good Luck :)

Just be prepared in advance that he may not be ready yet. Girls tend to be ready earlier than boys. No problem trying and you might well succeed but don't worry if he doesn't get it.

Mine was 3 years 2 months and totally ready. We waited as he'd had a speech delay.

We took the nappy off, I reminded him every 20 mins or so about a wee. The first day, he did pretty much every wee in the floor, by the 2nd day he'd got it. He was dry overnight straightaway too.

I'm glad we waited until he was properly ready. Lots of advice says not to but it worked for us. So my advice would be, watch for their 'signs', remind them constantly and don't stress if they're not ready yet!

I also stayed very relaxed and kind about it. I wasn't worried if he didn't get it. I think that helped too.

For poos - we have a seat he places on the loo and put his feet on a step. He gets it all out and puts it away, he enjoys the independence!
