Child Arrangement Order

I've recently had a CAO put in place, my understanding is I essentially have the day to day decisions, that I can take my child abroad for 28 days (wish I could afford to!).

Something I've been goggling is what is considered a breach. My Ex was given remote contact when at family members and then unannounced turned up to have physical contact.

This is all very knew to me so any advise is appreciated

A breach is anything that contradicts the specific terms of the order. If his contact is supposed to be indirect and he turned up in person then it's a breach. You don't have to report breaches back to court but if he breaches either regularly in a minor way or just once in a significant way (and if contact is supposed to be indirect then I presume there's a good reason for no face to face) then you can stop contact and he would have to take it back to court.

Yes it was indirect. Thank you for your response, it was what I thought but you second guess yourself

The contact he tried to make was handled by those present well so I won't do anything but will keep a record

And yes there is enough reason he can't have physical contact but court approved indirect
