8 month old refusing milk for a month! Anyone else?

Hi everyone,
I made a recent post on here about my 8 month old and was touched with all the replies, it was so nice to hear from other mums being supportive.
I just wondered if anyone had experience with milk adversion. To give a brief history baby has always been funny with milk, has had intolerance, drunk too much as a newborn then point blank stopped drinking then started again ect ect. She’s always been “one of a kind” and not your typical baby lol. We did go through trauma at birth and she was unwell with various problems (colic, reflux, constipation, infections and more) she seems really quite happy during the day and generally sleeps well at night (although more frequent night wakings recently, she’s had a cold teething ect) anyway that’s the background. It’s been ONE MONTH of no milk drinking whatsoever. She drinks water and 3 meals a day with snacks that I ensure are nutritious and have a lot of calcium. The only reason I started feeding her a lot and more for her age was because she wasn’t taking milk so I don’t think she rejected the milk cause she was full on solids, if that makes sense. I have read online and everywhere says they simply must drink milk until they are a year old but I’m not sure what to do at this point, I can’t force feed her and it’s so stressful for us both if I even attempt to offer her milk. She doesn’t seem dehydrated and she doesn’t seem hungry or losing weight. But I’m worried about the future, her development, bones ect ect. I have not met a single mum who has been through this level of milk rejection. Anyone else at all out there who has been through the same thing? Any advice even if you’ve not been through it? It’s worth noting I am terrified of taking her to the doctor as I’m sure they’ll suggest a milk feeding tube or something. Help!! P.s feeding her homemade bone broth which she has about 60 ml a day… which is supposed to be really beneficial… thanks so much x

You need medical advice on this. Speak to your GP or HV you need dietician support and if you have a local infant feeding team they might be be helpful too.
My daughter was a bottle refuser and I had to stop breastfeeding at 10 months. They looked into whether she was eating enough to not go on to formula under dietician support. She was eating no where near enough so it was a mute point but even at 10 months this was a last resort and not something they were keen to do. From 7-13 months my daughter stopped gaining weight as she needed both formula and food to her energy levels as she was moving more.
