Looking for any recommendations on a pram/stroller I can get for a summer holiday. DS will be 4 in April so think we will still need something to help us get around?

How old is your little one?

Well now it's mainly used for my nearly 2 year old but my 4.5 year old will also get in it sometimes - last year on holiday she was just 4 and we would sometimes switch them - put the baby in Ergobaby carrier and let 4 yo get in the buggy to have a rest/nap. 4yo is small for her age though, I don't know her weight but she's only approx. 15th centile for height. I don't know what she will be like this year (she will be 5) but no doubt she will ask to get in it when little one is not using it!

At that age we used a very light umbrella type buggy.

Good grief let the child walk, he’s not a baby! I never understand this mentality for Disney World, never mind bloody Spain! My son walked 30,000 steps in Disney at 4 without a grumble, why? Because we got rid of the pushchair at an age appropriate way, taught him to walk and he was on holiday!!! He was happy!!

I use the hauck travel n care stroller it's great and takes a weight limit of up to 22kg and folds one handed , some strollers only go up to 15kg especially light travel ones

Yeah I don't think the OP is intending to ban her child from walking 🤣 lord, the judgement on this thread. Wait until you all find out I still have a potty in the car for emergencies!

@hjokhjjjkkkd The judgement on this thread is unreal 😳 My child is 4, hasn’t used a buggy at all since just after he turned 2.
I am unable to drive for medical reasons so DS walks everywhere with me - 1.2miles each way to nursery each day, 1.5miles each way to town multiple times a week. We live in a smallish town with no public transport other than through the main street so he literally does walk everywhere.
I specifically bought a (second hand) buggy for a trip we just went on (Disney) as I thought it might be useful and it’s the best money I spent! He used it for maybe an hour a day just to rest. It was handy for putting bags etc it too.

every family if different!

Thanks all for the positive and helpful comments. Not that there’s a need to explain. But no we don’t have a buggy for every day use and if we did, so be it that would be our choice and I certainly wouldn’t think less of my son for it!

anyway yes it’s just for a holiday in a country that may get very hot so no I wouldn’t expect my 3 year old to walk miles upon miles while sweltering. The buggy/pram is solely for holidays and at the very least a place to chuck everything’s so we can be hands free to enjoy Ds 💙

Ok ok but this isn't about your perfect child is it?? If you have nothing constructive to say then don't comment
