Children's Birthday Parties - Would This Help?

Fellow parent here who's spent countless hours organising kids' birthday parties! I'm exploring creating a platform where parents could book everything needed (venues, entertainers, cakes, decorations, party bags, etc.) all in one place, with reviews and easy comparison.

Would this actually solve a real problem for parents? Or is the current way of piecing things together from different sources actually preferred?

If you have a minute to vote, I'd be so grateful! And if you're willing to share what aspects of party planning drive you most mad (or what you've found works well), please comment below. Your experiences would be incredibly helpful

It could help if absolutely everything in an area was signed up to it. So you could literally click venue/ entertainer / cake / catering and you’re done.

The problem is - how do you get to that scale? You can’t really launch with just a few local providers signed up, because it will be useless.

So I love the idea, and hope someone with a thought on how you can action it comes along!

No, because it’s just booking the venue for me (it would be very unlikely that local venues would sign up because they already get loads of direct bookings).

Cake comes from Tesco. I don’t really do decorations or entertainment. Party bags are easy from Amazon.

I could see it possibly being of more interest in people who are in an environment where there are too many options to filter. Here literally there are 3 party venues in a 30 minute drive unless you count village halls (and they are booked word of mouth). So there is no need to search. And no one does decorations or a special bakery cake (just from a supermarket or homemade). And if it’s a market where everyone does big balloon arches or sleepovers with camping teepees or a magician and potion making. It would be a very specific market.

Also, how would you make money? I assume charge businesses to advertise, because most parents probably wouldn’t pay. It would be dependent on seeking out businesses who aren’t already saturated with bookings who need more exposure. Around here party venues, etc get very booked up, so I don’t know if they’d want more exposure.
