Do you mean the top lip in the middle?
It's a suck blister. Both mine had them and they just went away by themselves.
They're not infectious.

Hi, no I mean the spot in the corner of the mouth

Not particularly. Cold sores are usually small blisters filled with clear fluid. Red around the sides and hot to touch.
I'm not an expert just suffer terribly with cold sores and it doesn't look familiar.
GP or pharmacy for advice if you're concerned.

No not at all. Cold sores begin with a blister and very quickly errupt into a scabby weepy mess. Beautiful baby op!

I think it's angular chellitis which is a really common inflammation of the corners of the mouth and can be caused by dribble.

SwerveCity · 06/03/2025 16:01

Looks like it could be a cold sore to me.

This PP has nailed it @Bluesea14. My DD gets angular cheilitis often! It’s an annoying fungal thing, typically caused by excess saliva in young kids. Pop to the pharmacist and get some Daktarin. Apply while your DD sleeps so she doesn’t lick it off!

Oh really? Does it usually have a white spot? It doesn't match any of the photos on google. They look more like a scab

Yeah, my DD can sometimes get white spots with hers. Just head to the pharmacy and they’re help.
