Opinions needed for urgent stroller purchase

So after years of long service carting my son about, the cheap stroller I got when he was born has finally given up the ghost (a whole wheel assembly dropped off while I was pushing my newborn daughter around in it - fortunately closer to Wilko so I was able to glue it back on, but that wont hold).

I do have a naice Mountain Buggy as well but for everyday purposes I need a replacement lightweight cheap-ish buggy/stroller that I can haul on and off buses, get in and out of the house with easily, leave outside nursery when the time comes, and so on.

Would you go for:

A £150 option, very similar to the old one so I could use it intuitively. Folds really easily and flat and is very very light. Ostensibly this version has a parent-facing mode which the old one didn't, however reviews suggest that mode is a bit crap. I could theoretically attach the car seat to this one but, not having a car, I literally never did that with the last child so this isn't really a big factor. Extremely boring to look at

B An extra £50 (and this is a sale price so ticket price is higher again). Specifications go higher in terms of child weight and weight the basket can hold (although the basket looks smaller to me). Weighs 1.5kg more. Still a one-handed fold but I don't like the way it folds down as much (the other one is more upright). Reeeaaallly pretty.

Any obvious winner here? Or if you have a particular recommendation feel free to give it (needs to lie flat for a newborn is the main thing). Cheers in advance!

It's my daughter I'm needing this for, so newborn (effectively, she's actually like 10w old but she was really premature). But with my son when he was a baby we got on fine with lying flat in a stroller-type setup so I'm looking to replicate that, basically.

I would take less weight and easy to fold over being pretty any day.

Is Joolz Aer+ in your price range? You get a bassinet attachment and then the stroller part is separate

Extremely pretty combined with cheap is a red flag and I would expect it to be annoying to use and not last that long.

Max weight is not usually a big deal especially if DC was premature, it is likely you won't need a higher weight allowance. It's not like a car seat where you can't overload it for safety.

If I were you I'd go for a cheap and cheerful but rugged-ish option, probably a forward facing only unless you want the parent facing, and buy a soft bodied carrycot to stick in it until your LO is able to sit up well. Something like Hauck Rapid or Joie Litetrax. (Boots actually have the Hauck with carrycot for £199).

Joie Chrome is under £200 on the Nursery Store as well. That's good value if you wanted the parent facing.

Personally I would go for the more expensive one with a higher weight limit. The weight limit might not matter for safety but it seemed to correlate with robustness with buggies I've used (and I always overloaded them with shopping and luggage etc) so even if the child doesn't hit that weight, all the other things you carry might!

Personally when I ended up replacing buggies, it seemed a better option to go for a secondhand, more expensive brand than a cheap new buggy. The build is more reliable and the bigger brands have replaceable parts.
