This is probably a stupid question but...

How do you get the paper liners to fit in a cloth nappy? Do you cut them or is there another way of doing it? I want to start using them when out and about but they're bigger than the nappy (wider) and the info says don't fold. Am I being really dense?

I used to cut them lengthways and then I would have two.

I did cut them in two for DD's first size nappies but she's just gone into the next size and I'd have to throw the spare bit away.

I used to cut them when DD2 was in tiny nappies but after that I just tucked them inside the wrap to make sure they didn't wick - it made for a larger cathment area. My fleece liners (which I use more often) all hang over the sides of the nappy too and I find it works well.

I'd rip them into 3
