Baby carriers for big babies

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for suitable baby carriers?

DD is 9m and 99th percentile. For height and weight. We're currently using the ergobaby 360 but it's killing my back! Anyone used a good one?

I loved my tula. Do you have a local sling library (or use an online one) that would be the best starting point.

I’d second a Tula!

Have you tried a sling library / consultant? I found my ergobaby really uncomfortable with DD1 but then i went to a sling lady, she made some adjustments and its like a different carrier for DD2. I clearly had it not set up properly for my shape at all.

Jumping on for recommendations also.
Is the Tula good for short women? Or any others got petite mum's?

Thanks all, sounds like the Tula would definitely be worth a look! I know my local sling library closed but I'll see if there's one near enough that I could go to.

@ButIDontLikePeas such a good point about having the carrier set up properly. I must check! I don't recall having issues with my son but I've definitely changed shape since then!

Can you go and get someone to actually properly fit it for you and make sure you’ve adjusted it correctly? I had an ergobaby (not a 360, so this may be the difference if you are wearing in outward facing, that will be more tricky on your back!), but I wore mine in it until they were probably 2.5 with no issues (and I have actual lower back problems). I even managed to get my 4 year old in a wrap for fun. A 9 month old, even a big one, shouldn’t be too heavy to carry in a decent ergonomic carrier BUT it has to be fit correctly, so I’d get someone to check that.

I'm also recommending the tula. I got a tula toddler carrier when my guy turned 17 months and I wish I got it sooner. My son is also big for his age and the tula toddler is so much more comfortable for both of us.
