Hello everyone I hope you are doing well. Need your help again. My son started attending the childminder , and she charge for 1 hour 6 pounds, (for food only), nappies I should bring myself, he attending one's a week. I should pay for 1 day 18£ .I want ask you it's a normal price, because I thought it would not be so expensive. Son has a 15 free hours but for food I need to pay, but he is not eating every hour, looks a bit ridiculous or I'm not thinking well? Please put me in a right direction please. I want understand clearly it's a normal price or not? Thanks
Sincerely Ira

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi OP

I can’t answer this but it does seem rather expensive.

Hope someone else comes on with more knowledge who can help you.

Are you sure she’s charging £6 per hour for food? Or is it an extra £6 per day for food on top of the usual hourly rate?

RealPoet · 21/02/2025 18:06

Yes I received the invoice : 4 weeks- 12 hours ×6=72 £, I also thought that 6£ per day but not per hour....I'm so surprised, and I paid deposit 200£ already and need to let he 1 months before we leave....

How many hours are funded and how many does he attend?

RealPoet · 21/02/2025 18:13

He has 15 free hours and visits every Friday, that is, four times a week for 3 hours
