7m old loves standing but can’t do so independently yet. I don’t have the room for those huge activity tables
does anyone have any recommendations of anything that went down well wIth their LO

Or do I need to say goodbye to floor space on my lounge and just get a table

Just put some toys on the sofa and stand her at the sofa.

If you have space in your garden, you could get a sand/water table to use in the summer and use it inside now while it is clean.

Brilliant idea or a tuff tray.

This is what we did!

She doesn’t seem half as excited about this as the activity tables at the classes we go to! But this is what we’re currently trying.

We had a giant thing and it was worth it (sorry!). She adored it for about two months when she was at exactly your stage. We bought and then resold on FB for the same price, so the only 'cost' was space in the room - but as it's a short term pain it was worthwhile.

Don't go mad changing your house/furniture. It's over in the blink of an eye.

If she likes an activity table get one second hand or ask around other mums if anyone's getting rid of one. They're interested in them for such a tiny amount of time. She'll be walking about by herself in minutes.

For something more long lasting, highly recommend the IKEA flisat table. You can put interesting things in it as a sensory/activity table but it will also grow with her as a little desk and snack table too.

I taped some larger press/spin toys to the coffee table with masking tape whenever she grew bored I just moved them around/swapped something else in
