Baby rash

Hi,
Baby has been at dad's house for the day and come back with a sore rash on his neck. Dad gets defensive if I criticise but he just keeps giving baby back with rashes and sores. Either on his bottom now on his neck. Why is there a sore line under his neck? How do I talk to him about this when it ends up in a row and me getting shouted at and being called over the top for saying anything?

On his neck ? Is he teething and sitting in wet bibs/vest? How old ?

Ah, I hate rashes that appear out of nowhere!

If you're concerned about a rash, regardless, you can get clarification from a GP/HV etc.

In regards to speaking with your DC's Father... it sounds like he might think you are criticising his style of parenting and from listening to friends and colleagues talk about their own experiences – sometimes they can get quite defensive about it bracket both men and women who are separated but have children together)

Not to be dramatic, but I would definitely document and take photos when you pick your child back up from your ex partners just so you know what marks are new and what rashes you have to be monitoring etc.

Do you think he would be open to having a conversation at his house about your concerns and just continue to express to him that you're not criticising him, you just wanna make sure that baby is well and you want to know if it's from wet nappies, teething etc!
