Comforting and sleep

Evening! So my baby girl is 3, nearly 4 months. She recently has decided she likes a soft fabric on her face whilst falling asleep. (I have tried to swap with a muslin, she doesnt like it. Now, whilst she is in my arms or right next to me, this is fine as I can closely monitor the situation. She goes to bed, in her cot, at around 7/730 each night and stays there until we go to bed, we collect her and put her in her next to me bed. Don't worry, she has a camera with audio facing on her, and an owlet. I have massive anxiety around anything happening to her so I do watch her like a hawk. My question is, though, if she won't sleep without this on her face, how do I allow this in her room on her own, SAFELY? Does anyone else's baby like to do this?? How have you managed this?? Also no judgement about her being in her own room, as stated, she does not sleep over night in there, only for a few hours, and this has set us in a nice routine and she sleeps until around 7am. Any tips or suggestions, please :) thanks!

Under 6 months I wouldn’t be letting her sleep in a room by herself. Many people do but I followed the guidelines to always have an adult in the room until 6 months.

Can you stay in the room until she is asleep and then remove the fabric when you leave?

Have I got this right, you're actually asking if you can let a 3 month old baby sleep with a cloth on her face?

No. Of course you can't

I hope that helps clear up any confusion.

1st response- she is only in there for 2-3hrs max, I suppose it's the same as people putting their babies down for naps whilst they do things they need to do?? As I said I have a camera, audio, owlet sock, and I check in on her constantly.

2nd response- I'm asking how I can get around her only wanting to sleep with something on her face, she will not settle otherwise. Now she's found this habbit, how do I get around it??
