I am a mum of 2 but one thing I’ve never cracked is sleep

both haven’t been sleepers. DS1 is 3 and just got into his own room mainly co slept with us so I could get some sleep. Didn’t sleep through until 1?

Ds2 is 1 and has never slept through. Is the lightest sleeper I’ve ever met and I am terrified won’t ever sleep through and we co sleep!

Am I doing something wrong? They both were walkers. DS1 would wake for 1-2 hours in the middle of the night for that duration. DS2 is more of a frequent waker so wakes every hour/2 hours and then fidgets next to me all night long

my BiL just had a baby who’s 2 months old and is sleeping through 9-8am???? Like wow

any tips please? Haha. My babies a bit older now so more complex! DS1 does sleep fantastic now

I did when DS1 was young and I was I. The throws. I felt disheartened as it worked then teething happened and i felt like it set us back and we lost the rhythm?

when I say it worked he didn’t wake as often but still had a waking !

I don’t know if it was classed as sleep training I just held his hand and shushed him until he fell asleep in cot , not rocking to sleep etc x

Is DC2 feeding in the night? I found mine slept better when they realised that milk was no longer on the menu Wink

I would definitely recommend some sleep training, then once your babies are feeling confident to sleep by themselves in their own cots / beds they will sleep much more deeply, for longer, and you will sleep too!
Speaking from experience - I've just gone from mine waking up every hour for months to sleeping 7-6 completely independently.

he has cows milk now but still wants a bottle at like 12/1am? Tried water but he won’t go back asleep u less it’s warmed up cows milk

then through the night just wakes for a cuddle but I still have to sit up cuddle rock a little shush then pop him down and repeat an hour or two later

what method would work?? X
