Pill for PMS

My daughter started her period at 10. All was OK for a couple of years and then bam PMS hit big time. She started missing school , was physically sick aabd downright miserable. We tried various things over the next few months but nothing worked. At about 13.5 her skin broke out in cold sore and perioral derm and a few acne spots. We got all that under control with topical and then seek help for her periods. The doc gave us 3 options. Live with it,anti depressants or birth control. She chose birth control which I supported. 3 months later I got my daughter back and she has recently turned 15 and is doing fine. PMS stabilised and periods not loger an issue . Gets spots but nothing major and she uses a topical and that's not why she went on the pills. All was going well until I watched an aesthetician I follow on Instagram demonise the pill and go on about all the risks associated with it and when she came of it her acne exploded. I suffer from anxiety and OCD and have become consumed with guilt and panic that she is going to end up with health issues and severe acne when she decides to stop. I've tried to hide the anxiety from her but have spoken to her about the risks which she understands but says she will deal with thrm whent and of they happen and by then will be an adult so will be easier. I can't sleep or eat worrying about her future. Thanks for reading

With respect, you saw one video by one person (with what qualifications?). If she is happy then try not to worry about something that may never happen.

Anedcotal but my skin didn’t change at all when I can off the pill or fell pregnant either time. It then did flare up randomly but I was able to change my skin care to resolve this.

@tealandteal thanks for your reply. I agree it was one person but then I went down the rabbit hole of google and post after post of horror stories. I understand when thinking rationally that I shouldn't worry but when anxiety kicks in it's hard to break the cycle and be rational.
