Weird friends

Wondering if anyone else has experienced this- friends turning weird when you have a baby. Distancing, making passive aggressive comments about mother's being boring, not contacting as much etc.

I think motherhood is something that definitely separates women from one another into two different "types".
These friends of yours that aren't ready for mum-and-baby friends yet will eventually join you on the dark side.
In the meanwhile, find friends at local baby groups or nursery.

(Edited because I made a typo)

I was late to having babies and had the opposite situation of wanting my mummy friends to visit and wanting hang out with them but them drifting away from me
i realised that when I had my own you are just so knackered skint and just want to sleep in your own bed and hang out with other mums who “ get it”
aldo there are those that are jealous in the nicest way , I was heartbroken and jealous if all my friends who were lived up buying homes and making Babis and I was so far away from my dream I couldn’t be are to be around those who had it all

Yes it happens...also people don't really realise how much your priority change when you have children or hoe hard it Is to fo xyz. Mum friends are the way forward

Thanks for your honesty. That’s what I suspect about my friend. I have no respect for it though because her life is fortunate in many ways that mine is not- ie she has a family full of health. She shouldn’t compare circumstances.
