'New mum'

When do you stop being a new mum? When your child turns 1, 2?

It just suddenly hit me today I may not be a new mum anymore. Eldest is 6!

I know it obviously doesn't matter, just curious.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

6?? 🤣🤣

I don't know really, it's a good question.

Perhaps 'new mum' might end when the baby is no longer called a newborn?

And after that, you're a 'first time mum'?

By the end of maternity leave.

6 months of first baby. If you have a 6 year old you are about 5.5 years off haha

I’d have said more like 2 months.

I see, I was well out with my idea of the term then! If I were to get pregnant today I'd be a geriatric mum now apparently so life has moved on for me I think 😅
