Can you put fluffles on a 90 deg wash?

There are some stains that I can't get out and I thought a 90 deg wash might do it. I don't want micro-nappies at the end though!

Any experience?

Arrrghhhhhh NO NO NO! Step away from the temperature dial!!

My friend killed all her fluffles doing this - the microfibre cannot stand up to it and will disintegrate. The lesatic won't be too happy about it either!

Have you tried putting them in the sun for a few days? A nappy sanitiser might help too if you want to use one.

BUT i found milton sterilising solution got all my fluffles sparkly white again, soak overnight and then do LOTS of washes and rinses to make sure its all out

Oh - thank god I asked! Thanks! Cannot afford to kill my fluffles!

(why do we have to whisper about milton? Is it bad?)

flame might have something to say about it! don't do it more than once- milton would eventually eat the elastic- but i used it a few times and nothing went wrong with my nappies, it is a harsh chemical though so be sure to wash them a few times and do some extra rinses after you've soaked them.

chemical free would be sunshine...........

but at the moment you'd be lucky to get enough to dry them let alone bleach your nappies!!

I don't think sun is going to do it - I had them out in v.bright sun for hours for the last 3 days (not in the UK!) but no change. I've tried bicarb in the wash too but no joy.

If Milton is that bad, why did my grandad make me gargle with it when my baby teeth fell out?

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 22:43
Shock
suwoo · 30/05/2008 22:46

Were we not normal then? He was a medical professional too

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 22:47

Shuddering at the thought of it

suwoo · 30/05/2008 22:48

Thinking back to about 1981, it may have been diluted .

Flamesparro · 30/05/2008 22:53

I hope so! Just a small whiff is very bleachy

suwoo · 30/05/2008 23:09

Oh, I can clearly remember the smell
