There's a great physiotherapist on Instagram called milestones.and.motherhood who says that these are the least worst of the baby parking devices (ie better than walkers), and her videos are good on how to make bouncers better for little bodies - eg. make sure baby can have flat feet on the ground. It's still better for them not to be restricted at all, but sometimes needs must...

We bought a second hand one because I needed somewhere safe and entertaining to put baby for 15 mins whilst I finished cooking dinner (for example). They're only really useful for a short window, so spending lots of money on new feels a bit mad, even if it's not your money! Depends whether your little one is still happy left on a play mat with toys for a bit.

I'll have a look thanks so much , I suggested maybe a floor seat instead if I change my mind I'll look for a second hand one x

It’s not good for them to be in them loads (or any container really) but 10 minutes in a jumperoo a few times a day while you do some dishes or put dinner on etc is fine !
